These chairs have a lifting mechanism that can raise the person up to a standing position, making it easier for them to move around. Further, they not only help you out of the seat, but can also lower you back into the seating position. All chairs are discreet and also act as a normal recliner as well. - Celebrity's Lift-and-Rise Chairs are available in a minimum of three sizes. It is important that your feet remain on the ground as the chair lifts, so it is crucial that you find the right size for you.
- Smart Sense technology ensures that recliner Celebrity furniture is not damaged by surrounding walls or objects, instead when the chair touches its surroundings it automatically pauses any movement.
- Operate the chair using a clear and intuitive handset, which sits in a side-mounted pocket.
- Handsets can be mounted to either side of the chair, depending upon room layouts and/or personal preference.
- Single Motor Chairs have one motor for all functions - the footrest will have to be fully elevated before the backrest reclines.
- Dual Motor Chairs have one motor for the footrest and lift functions, and a separate motor to individually operate the backrest.
- Cloud Zero (Tri-Motor) Chairs have one motor for the footrest and lift functions, one motor for independent backrest operation, and another motor to tilt the chair forward and backwards.
- The benefit of Cloud Zero tilting is that the user can tilt the chair backwards to raise their feet above the height of their hips, promoting healthy circulation and relieving water retention in the lower leg.
- An additional headrest and lumbar adjustment is available on all Dual-Motor and Cloud Zero Celebrity Lift-Rise Chairs! This adds an extra button-pack on the side of the chair.
- An optional heated seat is also available on Dual-Motor and Cloud Zero Chairs, an economical means of heating the person and not the room.
- All Celebrity power transformers contain two 9V batteries, so that the chair can help someone out in the event of a power cut.
- An integrated rechargeable battery option can be specified, removing the need for cables to be plugging into the furniture at all times.
- Choose from castors or glides, depending upon your flooring, to ensure the chair doesn't move around excessively when in use.
