Practical knuckles protrude from the front of each arm, which offer a useful grab-hold for lifting yourself in and out of the furniture. These knuckles are an extension of the solid beech wood frame, which continues to the very back of the armrest frame and are finished with a choice of three wood colours. If you don't like the look of the knuckle, however, don't despair... there is an upholstered arm alterative
- The Canterbury Chair is available in three sizes: Petite, Standard and Grande. This allows you to find the chair best suited to you!
- All fabric Canterbury models are fitted with Mammoth Medical Grade Foam Seating Technology as standard, which helps to promote healthy circulation and avoid any areas of pressure build-up.
- Manual-reclining chairs come with a choice of a catch or a lever to operate the recline.
- Manual-reclining chairs also come available with the option for a 360-degree swivel base function.
- Power-reclining chairs come with a sleek side-mounted button for operating the recline function, including a USB socket!
- Celebrity are one of the few manufacturers that offer an optional two-motor recliner chair, where the backrest and footrest operate individually.
- Small castors beneath all items as standard making moving the furniture and cleaning beneath a doddle, whilst glides can be fitted instead for rooms with hard-flooring
