The Stressless Stella is a soft and contemporary modular sofa that responds to your movements. It showcases Stressless' BalanceAdapt™ system, which allows the sofa to respond to your natural movements, adjusting the seat as you move. Recline, lean forward, lie down or put your feet up and feel how the soft and generous seat adapts to your position. When the occasion calls for just a regular sofa, simply lock the function to stop the seat from moving! PLEASE NOTE: This model is also available as a corner group!


All Stressless products come with a wealth of options to maximise your comfort. Let us walk you through what choice is available to you for this range:


  • Choose your configuration. A simple two-cushion sofa is of course available, and so too is a matching chair. By this range being comprised of modular units, wider or narrower seating units can be joined to make a sofa of any length you could possibly require! A 'longseat' chaise unit is also available, ideal for the end of a long sofa (as pictured above). A corner module is also available, thus allowing you to create a corner group of any length. This is one of the most versatile sofa ranges from the Stressless catalogue and it enables you to create the perfect size sofa for your home!


  • Choose your arm shape. The Stella comes with an upholstered arm in a couple of different widths. For a chunky substantial look, choose the S1 design. For a slim and compact look, choose the S2 design. Or for something completely different... choose the wooden arm shape! With wooden trim to the arm and small wooden feet on the sofa to match, this option represents the most Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic. You can subsequently choose from any of the Stressless wood finishes


  • Choose whether you'd like a headrest. A detachable headrest option is available to order separately for every seat module from this range. This headrest has a metal frame which sits between the back frame and backrest. A rubber-like coating to the frame allows it to be pulled taller and hold its position. Alternatively, simply remove the headrest for a low-back sleek look.


  • Choose from leather or fabric. Stressless have multiple ranges of leather and fabric, with hundreds of colours available across all grades! Never has it been easier to find that colour scheme that ideally suits your home and your design preferences. Leathers range from tougher more corrected hides, to a beautifully soft and almost aniline leather. Meanwhile, fabrics come in several guises too; from velvets, to herringbones, all the way to woollen based materials


  • Choose your leg colour. The Stella always comes with an elegant metal ski-shape leg, beneath all pieces from this stylish range. For this leg, you have a choice of polished chrome or painted matt black. Further, if you choose the wooden arm option for your furniture, the legs are instead made from wood and you subsequently have a choice of the wood colour!
