A contemporary take on a classic design, the Hockley will no doubt be a timeless piece of furniture design. The characteristic 'knotch-arm' is reminiscent of traditional Knole-style sofas of old. Peter Guild offer a mammoth selection of fabrics, but the Hockley is often sold in 'Modena' crushed velvets (as pictured), which are not only modern but extremely hard-wearing and moderately priced. You also have the choice of a 'formal' or 'scatter' back for your sofa - the back panel of a scatter-back sofa is actually made slightly thicker to accommodate for less cushioning, which is indicative of the handmade nature of all Peter Guild sofas.
